Kia ora Rikiana. Well done on managing to tame the polyline tool. I actually think sometimes using a simple object like your apple is the best way to learn a new skill. Using the polyline is definitely something that I have found gets easier the more you practice it and using a mouse is considerably easier than using the trackpad on a chromebook. I wonder if you could have given your apple a bit more of a 3D appearance by adding a patch of colour where it would be lighter - like if the light was shining on it.
